This plan storage shelving unit offers an affordable storage solution where rolled and flat materials need to be stored. The flat shelves are designed to store active blueprints, eliminating the hassles of curling the plans. Once the plans become inactive, they are rolled up and stored in one of the pigeonhole cubbies.

Designed with the engineer, draftsman, or architect in mind, this unit allows plan drawings to be stored either rolled or flat. Plan Shelving is an affordable means to store vital plans and artwork.

Plan Storage Shelving Features

  • Posts & Sides: Unit comes with four posts and 24-gauge side panels.
  • Shelves: Shelves clip into the posts and are adjustable on 1-1/2" centers. Shelves are made of 18-gauge steel and rated to hold 475 lbs. each (uniform non-impact loads). Shelves are punched for divider adjustment on 1-1/2" centers.
  • Dividers: Dividers are made of 20-gauge steel with rounded front flanges for user safety.
  • Backs: Unit comes with 24-gauge back panels.
  • Base Strip: Base strips are made of 18-gauge steel.
  • Swinging Doors: Optional swinging doors are available. Doors are preassembled to their 16-gauge steel frame. Doors are made of 20-gauge steel and reinforced to prevent warping. Doors have three 5-knuckle hinges and a chrome-plated key handle.
  • Assembly: Assembly is required.
  • Finish: Units are electrostatically spray-painted with enamel and baked on at 360 degrees.
